Causes Of Bipolar

Bipolar is still being studied, researchers are not sure what causes Bipolar disorder. Studies suggest that Bipolar may be caused by genetic components, however DNA is not the only reason for Bipolar. Researchers believe that there may be a connection through brain and environmental factors. The causes of Bipolar may not be known however there are treatments available to manage the condition.

 

Bipolar

Bipolar disorder is a mental condition that causes changes in mood, extreme highs to extreme lows that lead to depression. These mood change episodes can happen multiple times in a year, or they may happen on a less frequent basis. These changes in mood can interfere with sleep, energy levels, activity, behavior, judgement, and the ability to think clearly. Some individuals may experience emotional symptoms alongside mood change episodes.

 

Triggers

  • Sleep disruption or depreivation
  • Stressful life events
  • General Stress
  • Physical injury or illness
  • Menstruation
  • Lack of exercise

 

Summary

Although there is no cure for this life long condition, it can be treated with medication, therapy and counseling. Taking note of triggers, keeping up with mental health care and living a healthy lifestyle can help managing Bipolar condition.
