‘Why Is Life So Hard?’ How to Cope When You Feel This Way

Life can be chaotic at times and calm during other times, however one fact that many agree on is that life can also be very stressful. There are many reasons we feel stressed, some feel stress from work, family concerns can be stressful, and relationships can also be stressful. Sometimes meeting deadlines, traveling, or maintaining ones daily routine can bring us stress. In 2020, and in 2023, participants took part in a stress survey. The majority of participants in the 2023 survey marked their stress around 5 or 10 on a scale of 1 – 10. The Covid-19 pandemic and many other concerns definitely added to the stress of many across the globe. In this blog we will list some ways you can cope when you are feeling stressed.

If anything, the fact that things are feeling hard in the face of change can be an indicator that you’re working to change your behavior and that is a process that, by design, isn’t easy.

  • Finding meaning and moving forward

It is important to take care of your mental well-being by seeking help when needed, and also by knowing the origin of what is causing you stress. When you know the origin of what causes you stress, you’ll be able to better avoid those things and know how to cope. Focusing on maintaining good mental health is a great life practice that can benefit our world.
